Introduction

The "Ride Logger" application ("App") is designed to track business and private vehicle trips. This application collects and processes personal data exclusively to provide trip tracking functionality.

What Data We Collect

1. GPS Location

• Purpose: Track trip route, calculate distance
• Type: Precise real-time location
• Frequency: Continuous during active trip
• Retention: GPS traces are stored for each trip
• Background tracking: Yes, during active trip even when app is in background

2. User Data

• Driver name: For user identification
• Email/phone: For system login
• Login credentials: Stored securely using encryption

3. Trip Data

• Vehicle data: License plate, VIN, vehicle type, odometer reading
• Trip details: Start/end time, trip purpose, distance
• Addresses: Start and end address of trip (derived from GPS)

4. Technical Data

• Device information: Phone model, OS version (for diagnostics)
• Local storage: Data stored locally for offline mode

How We Use Your Data

1. Trip tracking: GPS location is used exclusively for recording trip route
2. Calculations: Calculate travelled distance and trip duration
3. Reporting: Generate trip overviews and statistics
4. Synchronization: Send data to company server for backup and collaboration

Data Sharing

• App server: All data is synchronized to your company server for backup and team collaboration
• Third parties: Data is NEVER sold, shared, or transferred to any third parties
• Marketing and advertising: Data is NEVER used for marketing, advertising, or tracking purposes
• Tracking: The app DOES NOT TRACK users. GPS data is used EXCLUSIVELY to record your trip route for your own records
• Data brokers: We do not send data to any data brokers
• Cross-app tracking: The app DOES NOT COLLECT data from other apps
• Targeted advertising: The app DOES NOT DISPLAY any advertisements

Data Security

• Encryption: Login credentials are encrypted
• HTTPS: All server communication is secured with SSL/TLS
• Local storage: Data stored on device is protected by iOS system sandbox

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all your stored data
• Correction: Edit incorrect data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data
• Export: Export your data in Excel format
• Withdraw consent: Stop using the app and request account deletion

Data Retention

• Active trips: Retained without time limit
• Deleted trips: Permanently removed from server
• Account: After account deletion, all data is permanently deleted within 30 days

Children

This application is not intended for persons under 16 years of age.

We reserve the right to update this policy. You will be notified of changes through the application.
